View of the Catinaccio from the Santner Pass, showcasing the Santner Pass refuge. On the left stands the Croda di Rè Laurino, followed by the Torri del Vajolet, and in the distance, the peak of the Catinaccio d'Antermoia. Moving right, you'll encounter Cima Catinaccio Ciadenac, followed by the peaks between Le Coronelle and Roda di Vaèl. Situated below is the Fronza alle Coronelle refuge. To the right of the Catinaccio, another Dolomite mountain comes into view – the Latemar. The landscape then transitions into woods and meadows stretching between Nova Levante and Tires. Finally, there's the Sciliar, which, from this vantage point, appears almost like a "hill".
The viewpoint is located at an elevation of 2.328 m in the municipality of Tiers, in the district community of Salten-Schlern. The surroundings belong to the “Alpine zones and high elevations” landscape unit. Geographically, the viewpoint is located in the mountain group Rosengarten Group, in the area of Stelen and within Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park. The nearest locality or hamlet is Tiers.
