View of the new Stettiner Hütte (also Stettinerhütte or Eisjöchlhütte, Italian Rifugio Petrarca). The refuge is at 2,875 m above sea level. i.e. M. in the heart of the Ötztal Alps a few meters below the Eisjöchl yoke, which forms the transition between the Pfelderer Tal and the Pfossental.

The viewpoint is located at an elevation of 2.908 m in the municipality of Schnals, in the district community of Vinschgau. The surroundings belong to the “Alpine zones and high elevations” landscape unit. Geographically, the viewpoint is located in the mountain group Texel Group, in the area of Gagglwände and within Texel Group Nature Park. The nearest locality or hamlet is Schnals. Nearby are Schnals Mountain (191 m), Eisjöchl (33 m) and Graf Lake (1.1 km).
