We are located on the west side of the mountain refuge Nuvolau, in the eastern Dolomites, between Cortina d'Ampezzo, the passes Falzarego and Giau, between the valley Val Cordevole and the valley Val Boite. Panoramic view to the north-west following the clock: Monte Averau (2,647 m), Lagazuoi, Cunturines, Cima Fanis, Torre Fanis, Tofane di Rozes (3,225 m), Tofane di Dentro, Tofane di Mezzo, Cinque Torri, Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo, Dürrenstein / Picco di Vallandro, Großglockner, Pomagagon, Monte Cristallo, Rifugio Nuvolau, Civetta, Agner, Pale di San Martino, Mamolata / Marmolada (3342 m), Mesola, Rosengarten / Catinaccio, Col di Lana, Sass Pordoi, Piz Boè (Sella group), Pisciadù. Hike to the Cinque Torri

Location and surroundings

The viewpoint is located in the municipality of Verseil. Geographically, the viewpoint is located in the mountain group Nuvolau Group. The nearest locality or hamlet is Giau Pass. Nearby are Middle Peak (6.7 km), Incisa Pass (11.7 km) and Lagazuoi Lake (6.9 km).
